You will arrive at Muscat International Airport, meet, assist and transport to hotel.
After breakfast will visit to the bustling fish and vegetable market where you can see the latest catch of fish and vegetable & fresh fruits from the farms. Our next stop is at the Grand Mosque. A visit to this beautiful piece of architecture is a must to all tourists. Then we move to the old Muscat area. ) We take a photo stop at the Sultan’s Palace flanked by the 16th Century Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani.
We pass through the old city of Muscat and catch a glimpse of the old town. Our next stop will be at Bait al Zubair museum. From here we will take you to Souq Muttrah that has not changed for generations. Return to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Evening you will meet your tour guide and leave the hotel for a Muscat by night Tour. Discover the colorful lit City which looks like it’s just out of the 1001 nights after sunset. Dinner at a traditional Arabic Restaurant.
Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast you will meet your tour guide who will escort you to the waiting vehicle, which you will embark upon and depart for the desert driving along the coastal route.
You will drive past the town of Quriyat to arrive at Bimah Sinkhole, which is a crater in the ground with clear green pool, where many also like to swim, here once the vehicle is parked you will walk down to the opening of the wadi, where you might have to take a small boat to cross over to the land.
Spend some time here in the wadi surrounding with date and banana plantation, after spending some time you will return to your vehicle and proceed for the town of Sur where you will break for a short while for lunch and rest stop. After lunch visit of Dhow factory continue your drive to the desert until you arrive at the Al Mintrib Shell station, where you will meet your 4 wheel drive shuttle drivers.
After a short break here you will then drive into the desert to camp. Dinner Overnight in the campsite.
After breakfast check out from the desert camp and drive back to the vehicle in Al Mintrib Shell station. Board your vehicle and then drive towards Nizwa,
you will proceed to IBRA town to see the women market. After spending sometime here in this market you will continue drive to Jibreen Castle
Arrive at Jabrin to visit the castle, the finest of Oman’s castles built in the late 17th Century. After this visit you will drive back to the town. On the way halt at Tanuf to visit a typical Omani Farm. Later return to your vehicle and drive back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast you will meet your guide and proceed on a tour of the oasis city of Nizwa, which was once the capital of Julanda Dynasty in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings & imposing fort. Visit the Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya’aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal.
Later you will proceed with your tour guide to the village of “Al Hamra” for a visit of “The Bait Al Safah”, the cradle of Heritage and history. It is one of the best places to shed light on the life of our ancestors as they lived. We also see old houses, Museum and the Falaj system at Bait Al Safah. At Bait Al Safah you will live an out of imagination experience that you will cherish. After enjoying Omani Kahwa and dates you will depart for Jabal Shams. En-route visit Misfah, a village in the mountain seemingly hewn out of rock.
Continue drive to Jebal Shams to see the grand canyon in Oman. You will enjoy a part of the afternoon here walking around. Lunch (on direct payment) at the campsite. Late afternoon drive back to Nizwa.
Overnight at the hotel Falaj Daris.
After breakfast we leave the hotel and our first visit is to the action packed cattle and goat auction at the Nizwa souq, which is electrifying. After this visit you will drive back to the hotel to check-out and then proceed to Adam.
Visit the ruins of the old village at Al Harat and walk through the unique archways that connect one house to the next. After this visit continue drive to Zukait Beehive Tombs. These Tombs date back the Hanfit Period in 3000 B.C. Continue to the old village of Manah Walk through the remains of an old village and step back into time. Proceed to Birkat Al Mauz Fort for a short stop. Later proceed to Muscat. On arrival check-in, overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast depart for a Batinah bash experience.
On your way you will pass through the city drive along the express way, past the airport and then along the Batinah coast. Our first stop will be at the Barka village. Watch the fishermen bring in their early morning catch to the shores or take a walk in the seaside market laden with fish, vegetables and fruit stalls.
After a short tour of this market you will proceed to the Bait N’aman. This splendid two-storey castle was built by Imam Bil’arab bin Sultan and his brother, Imam Saif bin Sultan in the last decade of the 17th century. It continued to be a meeting and resting place for travelers and the armed forces until a few decades ago. This house has its own falaj that was used to run through it from Habra just outside Nakhal. This is common in forts and houses of Imams. Despite the fact that the falaj is already dry, one can still trace its route. The rooms are constructed in distinct military style and have escape routes through the ground in case of an attack.
From here you will proceed to the village of Nakhl and visit the Nakhl Fort.
Relax by the side of the shallow waters of the springs surrounded by lush green date plantations and steep mountain peaks. After the visit of this fort you will drive back to Muscat. Those who will have extension will be transferred to the hotel and others will wait at the hotel for in time transfer to the airport for their return flight.
